Adults Gujarati Batch - Starting in March, 2025 Come learn the basics of Gujarati with us and gradually build conversational vocab with us! Experience the richness of Gujarati culture and language with our expert instructors and comprehensive curriculum. Our teaching style is distinctive as we adopt a similar approach to the US education system's method of introducing a second language, such as Spanish or French. What sets us apart is that we prioritize practical application over theoretical concepts. Instead of diving into complex grammar rules right from the start, our lessons commence with the acquisition of fundamental vocabulary. By learning words and phrases that you can immediately use in your daily lives, we foster a hands-on learning experience that promotes practical language skills and encourages active engagement. What to expect: 1. Learn Basic everyday vocab, greetings and be able to start communicating confidently 2. Familiarity with Gujarati Consonants with emphasis on Phonics (Kakko) 3. Familiarity with Gujarati Vowels with emphasis on Phonics (Barakhdi) 4. Introduction to Gujarati Poems and Songs 5. Introduction to Gujarati Stories (Vartao) with comprehensions 6. Introduction to Gujarati Phrases and Sayings (Kehvats and Muhavaras) 7. Understanding Verbs, Nouns and Pronouns in Gujarati 8. Lots of fun and games! The batch will be led by a veteran Gujarati-speaking teacher who is proficient in both Gujarati as well as English. The group meets 4 times a month, every Monday at 7:30 PM EST for 45 minutes. The sessions are ongoing on a monthly basis, and students gradually progress with spoken Gujarati, reading, and eventually to writing. The purchase of this course gives you the access to Intermediate Level Live Online Gujarati Classes for 3 months (12 sessions) from March 2025 to June 2025 (session details are given below). PLEASE NOTE: Once you register you will receive an email with a link to request the course books shipped to you. A nominal one time fee of $30/student will be applied.
